The context
JN Automobiles sells used cars, and the used-car market runs on suspicion: before buying, people look for a reason to trust. The dealership had solid ones: a member of the TRAXIO federation, a 96-point inspection, a full warranty extendable to three years.
Its image told a different story. Italic “sport” lettering, a car silhouette, a bright red: generic codes shared by dozens of garages, for a stock that lists Audi RS6s and Mercedes-AMG GTs.
The approach
Rather than talk speed, talk seriousness. The identity borrows the codes of premium dealerships: a serif JN monogram, “AUTOMOBILES” in widely spaced capitals, a fine rule to sign it off.
The palette holds three tones: a deep black, white, and a burgundy replacing the bright red of the old logo, denser, more “house”.
Before / after
From garage codes to dealership codes.

The system
A brand that holds at every size.
Primary version, icon, favicon, colour, black and white variants: every use has its file, and brand guidelines with a usage guide set the rules. Sixty files delivered, from vector artwork for the storefront to a 32-pixel favicon.

inspection points on every car. The identity finally had to say that seriousness.
An identity does not sell a car. It makes people want to push the door open, and believe what they read once inside.
